Stolen Orange Bike

Mika Keränen

Dramatic events start to unfold in Supilinn in Tartu when an orange bike is stolen from a Belgian professor and a group of children start looking for the thief along with the police. Supilinn with its many dark corners, dusty backyards, creepy corner shops, familiar old ladies and suspicious businessmen, clever children and anxious ambushes… According to the author of the play, this heartfelt, funny and thrilling detective story is most suitable for children of primary school who can already read for themselves. The play is based on the book of the same name. Mika Keränen’s next children’s book Hidden Silver Treasure Chest received the Best Estonian Children’s Book award from the Cultural Endowment of Estonia in 2009.
