Since the 1999/2000 season, the Estonian Drama Theater has held an annual review competition. Throughout the years, the competition has attracted high school students from all over Estonia, who have written reviews on a variety of topics, including analyses of performances they have seen.
Each year, a panel of theater employees serves as the jury, selecting the most outstanding reviews. The winners are recognized and rewarded for their achievements.
It is worth noting that many participants of the review competition have gone on to become successful professionals in fields such as theater criticism, writing, humanities, and playwriting.
