Eesti Draamateatri lavastus „Rahamaa“ põhineb Eesti pangandust raputanud rahapesuskandaalidel, kuid seda võib pidada ka ühe ajastu kokkuvõtteks. Taasiseseisvunud Eesti peamine eesmärk oli vaesus selja taha jätta ning meeletu töö ja püüdlikkusega Läänele järele jõuda. Lavastus ja eelkõige Maria Fausti originaalmuusika küsivad aga – mis saab inimesest, kui tema ainus moraal ja väärtus on tema kontojääk.
The Estonian Drama Theatre’s production of „Business as Usual“ draws inspiration from the money laundering scandals that rocked the Estonian banking system – a story that also serves as a reflection of an entire era. In the rush to leave poverty behind and catch up with the West, the newly independent Estonia placed its faith in hard work and relentless ambition. But what happens to a person when their only measure of morality and worth is their bank account balance? This question lies at the heart of the production , underscored by Maria Faust’s powerful original music.
